On November 14th, 8 past captains of the Alvinston Flyers attended a game in Alvinston against the Mooretown Flags. These captains were all from the years 1988-1998. They were announced at centre ice and a ceremonial puck drop was held. Also in attendance was the coach of the first team, John McEachern, and also Ed Wagner, Norm Triest and Dave Tait who have been with the Flyers since the beginning year.
